What uses a credit

Credits are spent only when you ask OppBox for something. Reading your mail, your pipeline, your signals and your calendar costs nothing · there is no per-message or per-record charge. The background work OppBox does to keep your inbox sorted is on us, and that is a guarantee rather than a gesture: it is funded from a separate budget of its own, so a noisy mailbox can never eat the allowance you were shown.

So a Free seat's 150 credits is roughly 75 AI drafts a month, or 30 full briefs, or any mix. On Core, 750 per seat is around 375 drafts or 150 briefs · and the allowance is pooled, so a heavy week for one rep draws on the same balance as a quiet week for another.

What is OppBox?

Email, reimagined for sales reps. OppBox doesn't replace your inbox, your CRM or your calendar · it fuses them into one deal-aware view, so every deal thread carries its account, stage and signals and you work your pipeline straight from your mail. Read the manifesto for the full why.

What email accounts does OppBox support?

OppBox works with Google Workspace accounts from a work-email domain only, sorry no Gmail / personal emails. Outlook support is coming soon.

What platforms does OppBox support?

OppBox works on the web with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and a native iOS app is launching soon.

What enrichment is included?

Two kinds, and they are limited differently because they cost us differently. Company firmographics · name, industry, size band, revenue band, HQ, description and LinkedIn · are unlimited on every plan, including Free, because the lookup we use for them costs us nothing. Contact enrichment · finding a verified work email, title, seniority and spotting a job change · buys data from third-party providers, so it is capped: 5 lookups a day on Free, 100 a day on Core. We only pay, and only count a lookup, when a provider actually returns something.

What are AI credits, and what happens when I run out?

Credits meter the AI work you ask for · a draft costs 2, a full brief costs 5. Free includes 150 credits per person per month; Core includes 750 per seat, pooled across the team so a busy rep can draw on a quiet colleague's share. Reading mail, pipeline, signals and calendar costs nothing. Nor does the background work that keeps your inbox sorted · it is funded from a separate budget and can never draw on the credits you were shown. If you run out, AI actions pause until the allowance resets at the start of the next month · nothing else stops, and no email is ever blocked. Allowances do not roll over.

Is there a free trial?

There's no countdown, because there's nothing to count down to. Free is every feature for a team of up to 3, forever · so a small team can run OppBox as their real inbox indefinitely rather than racing a clock. What Free is bounded by is a monthly AI credit allowance, a 90-day history window and a "Sent with OppBox" line on outgoing mail. You move to Core when you add a fourth person, or when you want more credits, longer history and no watermark.

What happens when we add a fourth person?

The workspace moves to Core. Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted · you keep everything you were already using, plus 750 AI credits per seat a month pooled across the team (up from 150 per person), three years of history and no watermark on your sends. If you drop back to three, you can return to Free.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Sign in with Google, connect Gmail and your CRM, and you're running on Free with every feature. We ask for a card only when you add a fourth seat or choose to move to Core.

What are AI credits?

A monthly allowance for the work that costs us money to run · AI briefs, reply drafts, call recaps, sequence copy and contact enrichment. Free gets a standard allowance; Core gets five times as much per seat, pooled across the team. Reading your inbox, your pipeline and your signals never costs credits.

Does OppBox write to my CRM?

Only when you ask it to. A rep can push an edit or add a contact OppBox surfaced · each write is an explicit action, reviewed before it lands. There are no background or automated writes; your CRM stays the system of record.

Does the AI ever send email on my behalf?

Never. AI runs only when you ask · a brief, a draft, a recap · and everything it writes lands in front of you to edit and send yourself. Nothing is generated in the background and nothing sends without a human.

Do you store my email?

No. OppBox persists computed signals, your own actions (snoozes, dismissals, settings) and lightweight lookup indices. Message bodies live at your email provider and are queried live when you open them.

Is the Free plan really free for a team?

Yes · up to 3 people, free forever, no card. It's a real plan, not a teaser: every view, every signal, every integration and the AI, inside the Free credit allowance. Add a fourth person, or outgrow the credits, the 90-day history or the watermark, and you move to Core.

How does billing work for teams?

Free covers up to 3 people at no cost, forever. Adding a fourth person moves the workspace to Core, and on Core every user is a paid seat from the first one · so a team of four is 4 × $30 = $120 a month, not $30 for the extra person. Billed monthly via Stripe. Invite teammates from Settings; seats adjust on your next billing cycle. Enterprise moves to annual invoicing when it ships.

Can I cancel?

Any time, in two clicks, from Settings → Billing. You keep Core until the end of the period you've paid for, then move back to Free if the team is three or fewer. Your data can be exported from Settings at any point.

I use Outlook. When can I start?

Soon. Our email infrastructure speaks Microsoft natively · Outlook is a switch we flip after the Gmail-first beta, not a rebuild. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you the day it lands.
